Accommodation at Piers Court is reserved exclusively for members and patrons who are invited to be part of this unique and evolving project.
Set within 23 acres of enchanting gardens, ancient woodland and rolling countryside, the estate offers a private sanctuary for rest, relaxation, and renewal, making it an idyllic haven for those wanting to take time out from their every day life—to relax, reflect and reconnect with themselves and with nature.
The accommodation currently available includes rooms in the main house with access to a cosy parlour featuring a welcoming fire place, as well as two self-contained cottages, each offering private independent spaces with self-catering facilities.
Please note, as we are still in the early stages of bringing our vision of Piers Court to life, we’re unable to offer catering at this time. Guests staying in the main house have access to a Tea Station with a selection of teas, fresh garden herbs, coffee, and cold breakfast options.

-
This charming and cosy bedroom has a double bed facing a large window that frames a stunning view of a cherry tree just outside, with gardens stretching beyond. This dynamic picture of natural beauty captivates year-round, with birds fluttering and singing, and it is especially magnificent when the tree blooms in spring.
The ample en suite bathroom features a beautifully inviting bathtub along with a spacious separate shower, while a large window offers glimpses of our lovingly tended herbaceous border, often visited by grazing deer, further enhancing the serene and enchanting atmosphere.
STAG
The Stag, fondly nicknamed the “Rothko Room” by our guests, is a vibrant yet tranquil south-facing retreat on the first floor, painted in striking red hues.
-
This large bedroom features a king-size bed and a cozy sitting area by a large window, showcasing views of our ever-changing herbaceous border—a favourite grazing spot for our resident deer, who quietly grace the scene with their presence.
The en suite bathroom, though compact with a small shower cubicle, includes a petite window overlooking our pond, where wild mallard ducks return from their winter migration to breed here in spring.
This suite effortlessly blends rich character, natural beauty, and timeless history.
FAMILY
Nestled on the second floor in the Elizabethan section of the main house, the Family is a bright and welcoming room that can accommodate up to three people.
-
This charming bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed and an additional single bed, with south- and east-facing windows that allow plenty of natural light to fill the room, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

While the ceilings are lower than those found in more modern rooms, this feature adds to its cosy and authentic ambiance, enchanting history enthusiasts and those who appreciate period architecture.
The Family shares a practical bathroom with the Bell, conveniently located between the two rooms on the same floor. This bathroom, also showcasing beautiful south-facing views, offers a bathtub and a compact separate shower.
On this floor of the Elizabethan section of the house, the Family and the Bell are the only two bedrooms, along with this shared bathroom. This setup makes it perfect for a family or friends, staying together on the same floor and enjoying the comfort of this private arrangement.
Perched on the second floor in the Elizabethan section of the main house, the Bell is a charming and tranquil room with unique historical touches.

This lovely bedroom, equipped with ample wardrobe space, features a cosy double bed and a south-facing window that frames enchanting views of the gardens and a gracious old willow tree. An additional petite west-facing window offers a close-up view of Piers Court’s historic bell, a fascinating feature of the house, while still allowing additional light to filter in.
Rich in 16th-century character, the Bell boasts original beams and other historic features that reflect the architectural richness of the Elizabethan period. As this room is in the oldest part of the house, the ceiling height is slightly lower, contributing to its intimate and snug appeal. This feature may, however, be less suitable for taller guests seeking a more spacious environment.
The Bell shares a practical bathroom with the Family, conveniently located between the two rooms on the same floor. This bathroom, also boasting beautiful south-facing views, offers a bathtub and a compact separate shower.
Together with the Family, the Bell offers an intimate and private setting on the second floor in the Elizabethan section of the house, ideal for a family or friends travelling together and seeking a peaceful retreat.
EXPLORERS
The Explorers is an alluring, secluded top-floor retreat in the main house, offering a twin bedroom with breathtaking east-facing views over our rose garden and vast woodland beyond.
-
At the top of the Elizabethan staircase, a beautiful old door opens into a tucked-away wing, affectionately referred to by our guests as the ‘penthouse hideaway’. Here, a sequence of intimate spaces unfolds beneath the eaves, revealing unique character.
Stepping into this secluded opening space, guests are greeted by exposed beams and quirky features that reveal layers of history and a welcoming intimacy. Some areas feature restricted ceiling height, further adding to its singular charm.
This characterful ante-room invites visitors to unwind, share stories, or even play a tune on the guitar and other musical instruments provided. A skylight above fills the space with natural light, offering a glimpse of the roof and sky. This versatile area also features a futon, serving as both seating and an extra sleeping space when needed.
From here, a door leads into the Explorers bedroom, where an intimate bathing alcove features a bathtub bathed in natural light, be it sun or starlight, through the skylight above, with access to the en suite bathroom, which also includes a shower. An open doorway connects to the bedroom where two double beds face an east-facing window, inviting glimpses of the serene landscape beyond.
This unconventional space, with its tucked-away layout and slopping ceilings, may not be ideal for those who prefer more expansive interiors. However, for those who appreciate historical quirks and intimate spaces, it offers a unique and characterful stay.
